Tributary to Kistler Run,Pocono Mountains

Tributary to Kistler Run 8x10 oil

This is a small tributary to Kistler Run from two posts ago. I enjoy these little out of the way places, we were walking thru the woods and came across this small feeder stream running through the forest empting into Kistler Run.

I liked how the sun found its way thru the trees lighting up parts of the stream bottom giving you a quick glimpse into its world.

I can actually step into this painting and hear the water running. Lovely painting, Pat!

lovely job Pat! Great depth in the foliage and you've got a real sparkle and clarity in the stream - not an easy thing to pull off. Bound to be a few little "brookies" in there!!!
